Vallair’s Teardown Business Unit focuses on acquiring end of service aircraft and increasing their value through dismantling and the management of the spares inventory it creates. With a floor space of 11,000 square meters in its Chateauroux (France) facility, Vallair has the capacity to disassemble 12 or more narrow bodies per year in an AFRA accredited environment.
Vallair prides itself in ensuring all environmental regulations are not only respected but exceeded during its dismantling process. The Teardown Business Unit plays a key role in supporting other Vallair Business Units by making critical components available for cargo conversions, engine or aerostructure repairs, or by providing parts as needed by Vallair’s leased fleet of aircraft. This exact same support is available to all of Vallair’s customers around the world, allowing them to draw from an extensive inventory of serviceable parts.
With its integrated supply chain and technical support teams, or via its component repair shop, Vallair oversees the return to service of all components requiring repairs or overhauls, making sure customers have access to the right parts at the right price, when and where they need them.
Vallair’s Teardown Business Unit is there to support customers’ parts needs, whether it is for scheduled or unscheduled events, including AOG’s, at a moment’s notice.
