The Program/Project Management Office function delivers the Program/Project Management standards knowledge and expertise required to support Vallair’s Programs/Projects primarily, to establish and to control Vallair’s PP Management standards, provide necessary reporting and information to enable decision making. The PMO manager responsibilities includes but are not limited to:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and follow-up highest standard of Program/Project management administration, tools, techniques, standards, processes and reporting
  • Follow-up and report to Technical Director for Program and Technical Project Manager(s) for Project(s) as applicable current status of cost (budget), progress (time) and any deviations if applicable, also covering aspects of quality status, scope changes, risks and benefits if existing
  • Work closely with Technical Director and Technical Project Manager(s) to make sure standards of PP management are followed
  • Provide and support Management Board with necessary Program/Project status data
  • Ensure that similar projects are executed according to consistent processes
  • Provides project management training and mentoring
  • Conducts post implementation project reviews including capture of lessons learned and best practises
  • Manage process and project reporting/tracking
  • Contribute to development of core competencies in project management
  • Follow up of company procedures such as MRF/SRF, OIL, PO request, Checkpoint Report etc
  • Assisting Technical Director and Technical Project Manager in setting up and achieving targets and KPIs for Project(s)
  • Provide Project(s) assurance
  • Meeting KPIs set up by Technical Director
  • Substituting Technical Director I case of his/her absence

 

Requested Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position or Project Support position in aircraft/engines acquisition, sales, lease deliveries and re-deliveries of B737/A320FAM/CFM56/V2500 etc
  • At least 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance/airworthiness departments
  • Basic knowledge of EASA and FAA regulations. Other regulations are welcome
  • Basic knowledge of OEM and third-party documentation such as Airbus/Boeing MPD, SIL etc
  • Basic knowledge of B737/A320FAM/CFM56/V2500 design, operation and maintenance (e.g., GenFam course)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office package
  • Good leadership skills
  • Good cost control skills (e.g., Basics of Accounting, PnL etc)
  • Excellent project management skills (e.g., PRINCE2 Practitioner)
  • Knowledge of PRINCE2 and PMP
  • Excellent knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Multicultural working experience
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility and ability to work under time pressure
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
