Key functions :

  • Member of the Executive Committee, provide core support to the CEO, its deputy, advisors and to the shareholders for all Capital Budgeting decisions and in particular for decisions on investments in aircraft and engines projects for sale, cargo conversion or passenger lease.
  • Act as the single dedicated point of contact for all aspects of Aircraft and Engines budgeting and financing, including A321 cargo conversion projects.
  • Develop and implement sound business policies and practices for projects budget management leading to efficient and cost effective operations.
  • Monitor the average cost of capital of the group and define the marginal cost of capital for the company projects adjusting to their specific risk profile.
  • Present projects budget and dedicated business plans and investment criteria measure (NPV) within the aircraft and engines purchasing committee (APC)
  • Prepare and anchor financial material performance indicators for aircraft and engine projects securing the long-term profitability targets on the BU
  • Provide support to the controlling and accounting department to monitor and analyze projects performance and overall profitability of the group projects.
  • Based on controlling and accounting monthly project reports, propose required decisions and action plans to secure group profitability and operating efficiency
  • Provide timely and effective support with respect to corporate financing and banking, including:
  • Equity and Debt financing of assets acquisitions and aircraft/engine leases
  • Term loans and revolving credit facilities secured by various assets
  • Corporate bank loans, Mezzanine financing, factoring, CDS, etc…
  • Manage group debt and develop strong relations with the banks/ investors and other financial service providers to minimize the cost of debt.
  • Determine group risk tolerance and implement hedging strategies including FX risks
  • Provide support for financial modelling and other ad hoc projects when requested.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financing, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Experience in aviation financing will be greatly appreciated but not mandatory
  • Strong skills with Excel required
  • Proven financial modelling proficiency required
  • Data mining capabilities & business intelligence knowledge a true plus
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the Executive Committee
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. French speaking is welcomed
