Châteauroux
Conveniently located just two hours from Paris, and capable of accommodating an A380, Vallair’s multi-purpose 8520m² Châteauroux facility provides a full work scope of heavy maintenance for narrow and wide body aircraft. Our  MRO activities are focused on A320 family & A330 aircraft, as well as providing regional support for ATRs.

Based at Marcel Dassault Airport, the facility can offer maintenance services on five A321 size aircraft simultaneously, or a combination of A330/A340 and A321s. Maintenance requirements can be undertaken in conjunction with composite repairs, as well as aircraft parking and storage. Our significant experience in passenger to freighter conversions is also showcased in a dedicated unit at our Châteauroux facility.

Montpellier
The Vallair team in Montpellier is experienced in major repairs, skin and frame changes (such as frame 16 and 18 on the A320), as well as cockpit window frames which can generally be performed in under twelve days. Minor composite repair operations can be carried out while the aircraft is undergoing maintenance. Larger repairs would typically be transferred to our Aerostructures facility in Châteauroux, France, where capabilities cover nacelles, flaps, spoilers, rudders and thrust reversers.

Vallair’s modification and reconfiguration activity is complemented by local preferred PART 21 DOA (Design Organisation Approval) partners that provide new LOPAs (Location of Passenger Accommodation) and SBs (Service Bulletins).

In addition to standard reconfiguration activity, Vallair undertakes complete cabin refurbishment using OEM paint and coverings, carpet and tedlar replacements. Vallair’s dedicated paint facility, accommodating aircraft up to A321 with sharklets, is adjacent to the MRO facility and can be used in conjunction with a maintenance or modification input.

Parking and storage
Vallair’s facility has capacity for 20+ aircraft within a secure airport environment. With an average of 222 days of sun per year, Montpellier (MPL) is easily accessible from major European airports and ideal for aircraft parking and storage. Office space and records storage can also be accommodated within the hangar complex. Additional parking is also available at Châteauroux.
