Our Assets Services

Why our customers choose Vallair:

Luxembourg: Our Material Management team supports airlines and aircraft lessors with our extensive stock of aircraft, aerostructure & engine parts, and major components. We offer parts for SALE, EXCHANGE and LEASE.

Parts are offered in all conditions: as removed, overhauled, serviceable and repaired.

Our repair team manages a global network of repair shops which are closely audited for quality and TATs. This ensures we can offer stock that is reliably priced and excellent value.

Component support from Vallair abides rigorously to OEM standards and delivers time efficiencies across the supply chain through the utilisation of our own teardown, aerostructure & engine parts repair, and logistics management under one roof.

Châteauroux: Vallair is pleased to accept and professionally manage consignment stock within our large and temperature-controlled warehouse facility.

Parts Sales

Luxembourg: Vallair ASSETS acquires aircraft and engines that operators need to dispose of to remain competitive in an ever-changing commercial aviation landscape. As an active member of ISTAT, our primary focus is to maximise the life and value from aircraft assets, and we do this through cargo conversion, teardown for USM (used serviceable material), or managing green-time lease agreements.

We concentrate on A320 family, A321, A330, and B737 Classic/NG aircraft; and CFM56-3/5 and V2500 series engines for sale or lease.

Working closely with our MRO businesses, we deliver assets to meet all international regulatory standards.

Châteauroux: Vallair is a leading independent provider of teardown services and our 11,000 sq.m. facility is co-located with our aerostructure shop and engine bays in Châteauroux. We have the capacity to dismantle twelve narrowbody aircraft per year.

Our highly skilled team store and manage parts for maximum efficiency and asset value realisation.

Vallair has been an integral player in the aircraft teardown and recycling sector for many years and is one of the founding members of AFRA (Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association) which has now become the standard for aircraft disassembly and aircraft materials recycling.

Materials removed from the aircraft are certified as recyclable or non-recyclable by our partner Veolia (ISO 1400, 9001 and 45001 certified) and the recycling process is conducted in accordance with the AFRA requirement.

Approvals

Luxembourg: Vallair ASSETS provides turnkey solutions for the sourcing of feedstock, cargo conversion and customisation process, plus the leasing and trading of converted aircraft. Our experienced team sources optimal conversion narrow and widebody candidates, including Boeing 737 Classics, and A321s, working with a network of global partners to deliver freighters for ACMI, cargo charter operators, integrators, lessors, and e-commerce providers. In fact, Vallair was the launch customer for the A321P2F.

Châteauroux: Our dedicated unit has been an important catalyst for the A330-300 E Class conversion. Designed to bridge the gap while operators currently wait five years or more for full freighter conversion slots. Vallair’s E Class solution means that loading is not done on pallets or containers but uses a conveyor that fits inside the cargo hold to efficiently load and distribute individual parcels instead. This proven concept expedites the process and reduces turnaround times considerably. Aircraft can easily be converted back to PAX configuration, or transformed into a freighter with a large cargo door in future. It is a complementary alternative solution to the traditional freighter conversion, not a replacement.

Vallair’s hangar can accommodate two A330 aircraft, or one A330 and up to three A321s, at any one time. This affords the capability to perform both wide and narrowbody maintenance, and offer a ‘Swiss-knife’ approach with tailored solutions using all of its capabilities on site. These include maintenance, paint, engine shop, aerostructure repairs, conversion, teardown and component support.
